Sharpening the Blade: Review + Next Level Skills

RECAP

Quick Review Questions

  • Which tool did you use to cut out unwanted footage?
  • How long was your exported fight supposed to be?
  • Why is project folder naming important?

MISSION · PART 2

Now that you’ve mastered the basics, it’s time to add some cinematic flair. Take your 30s fight and refine it into something epic: sound, style, and smoothness. The audience should feel every clash of the blades.

THE NEW RULES

  1. Step 1 Add a title card at the start (e.g., “The Duel” or your own creative name).
  2. Step 2 Layer in sound effects (clashes, swishes) or dramatic music to set the tone.
  3. Step 3 Smoothen your transitions. Add crossfades or cuts that keep the fight flowing naturally.
  4. Step 4 Re-export your new version (still 30 seconds long). This is your upgraded final battle.
  5. Step 5 Upload your improved fight to Teams as “yourname_fence2”.
